Hi I’m Lena, the founder and CEO of Simply Cheesy Boards. My lifelong passion for food and event hosting has its roots in my upbringing within a close-knit, over the top food-loving Arab American family. This love was further enriched by my wanderlust for culinary adventures around the world. Hailing from the vibrant community of Fairfax, VA, I proudly earned my business degree from George Mason University. Above all, my greatest joy comes from embracing the role of a devoted mother, relishing precious moments spent with my incredible two children. Hello, I’m Ellie! I’ve been a member of Simply Cheesy Boards since its inception, and crafting exquisite charcuterie boards and tablescapes has evolved into a profound passion of mine. I was born and raised in Centreville, VA. My educational journey led me to the University of Kentucky, where I honed my skills and developed a deep appreciation for the art of presentation. During my leisure hours, I find joy in cherishing moments with love ones, savoring the melodies of Taylor Swift, and sharing delightful moments with my cats.
